Ideals that stayed into words
A coffin nail of false gold
When the dust settles
And tears run dry
You will know
The promise of a deeper reality
Of a meaning in the suffering of man
Has lead me here tonight
Into the dark night of the soul
The dice revealed their face
It spoke annihilation all along
Out of ulterior motives born
The Gods have asked for Fire and Death!
Who are you, mortal, to deny?
I deny the comfort of your egoistic schemes
Your victories will be naked in time
You will see your fake order collapse into dust
You will see your loved ones die before your very eyes
You will see civilization crumble into ruins
You will see men kill each other in madness
Your dreams withered away
Thus us life
Thus it has happened and will happen again
You will not be indifferent
You will not be untouched
You will take in your heart
All the tragedy of the world
And withstand!
You will still be there, in the thick of battle
For the last stand
For glory, For love, For hope,
For man's quest towards the eternal
Is carried on by a conscious, free sacrifice
Forgive them for their Eyes of Hatred
No one will ever know the truth
But Me!
I see the fabric of the world unfold
There is something hidden underneath
A bright light emerges from the depths...

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli

Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end. sachavonkarl74

No excuse, I should’ve already picked this up. When people can’t agree on what you’re playing but they know it’s metal, that means you’ve done it right. Metallurgical Fire
