Dripping dark in sweet clairvoyance
To stair holes
Flowing slowly from crown
To demonic chakras!
The blue light shone is not the blue light a-bright
Tis the black hidden in hue
The Devious Nectar
Sweet Northern afflictions reap the compass blind
Vast masts break upon such cyclical crimes
Visions amongst arms wraps head leaned high
Forward melting energies rocket bleak ones nigh
New beginnings only propel to rot
Frontal lobe seeps, cortexially odd
Curtains and veils, disorienting all men
On and on and on!
The Devious Nectar
Heed! Heed the fall!
Heed! The devious crawl
Heed! The dripping bark
Heed! The sweet evil of the Mighty Tree

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

Mikolaj is a real multi-talent in bass as well as guitar as well as vocals and "Darkside" Maciej's drumming is a well-calibrated 100th-of-seconds-clockwork. Not for nothing is Mgla considered as a standard for a lot of other blacker-than-black metal bands. I hope to see this band live once..... grote_smurf

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
