lyrics
New sequence begins
Dreams and hallucinations become real
Skin expands, I can feel the limbs snap
My pores ooze mucous
I can feel the new shapes
The walls howl as I shapeshift
Limbs of unknown origin
Slime pouring from everywhere
Slathered on my face like a pitiful fly
Covered in its own self doubt
The journey continues into the halls of God
Before time and space
My skin boils, melting away to show new form
Innards spill like all my self hatred in mind
They said I was weak, but I've endured
New life secured in pain and terror
The legs burst as I fall into despair
It's worth it in their eyes
Am I worth your gaze now?
Identity becomes of elder ones
They made into a Malcloidic monster
Am I worth your scowls?
Am I worth myself?

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight). It is overall sharp, dark, hypnotic and unrelenting. One of those rare convincing new bands that hold proud the legacy of the biggest names. Bertrand Marchal

Extremely inventive and multifaceted sci-fi prog death, just like iridescent ethereal world on the cover art. Best band's achievement up to date. And easily in 2023 AOTY list Dmitry Nevozhay

Sounds like Cthulhu going on a Benadryl and bath-salts fueled rampage through a Guitar Center while a bunch of the fish people from Innsmouth gang bang in the background.
The guys from Ulthar sound more focused this time around, compared to the more meandering bits of Helionomicon (which is also awesome, check it out). And the album art... holy hell. Ghuughra
