lyrics
You put your knife in me
You put your knife in me
You put your knife in me
This is something that should never have been
You stood and watched me bleed
Beneath the sacred tree
As you put you knife in me
My blood you wished the soil to feed
I offered you my heart
Like a fool, I let you tear it apart
As you put your knife in me
This is something that should never have been
Lovers, ramblers, wanderers and fools
This life’s a gift that’s given unto you
Traitors hide in the most beautiful of forms
As I die here, hear my song and be warned
So you can put your knives in me
You can put your knives in me
You can put your knives in me
But you’ll never ever ever be free
You can put your knives in me
You can put your knives in me
You can put your knives in me
But you’ll never ever ever be free
A Pagan black metal masterpiece.
Folk and black metal elements fuse into one extremely catchy and awe inspiring album. This band does not disappoint from all the high praise sent it's way. Abyssius Murkraken
What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub
Listening to this on shrooms was haunting, which made it into a serious trip! Which was a mistake I was not prepared for. I do have something to say about it though on why I think it such. I have personally experienced several tipi ceremonies. One would stay up through the night, consuming peyote, doing in some sense a molting process and does so by connecting you to the spirit world.
This album does this, but different - I say it transcends that experience, and does it well... On shrooms.
